The kayak launch at East Bay Park in Winyah Bay is our primary delivery site.  There are several trips that can be made from this site.  We also deliver to the Carroll Ashmore Campbell Marine Complex boat landing.  Guided group tours are available for scheduled trips along the Black River.

No experience is required, but it wouldn't hurt to brush up on a quick "how-to" video if you've never captained your own ship before.  

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.  It is the responsibility of the renter to determine capability.  Georgetown Kayak Rentals, LLC requires every guest to wear a life vest regardless of swimming ability.  

Yes, a small child may ride with you in your kayak.    

Yes, many children take to kayaking quite naturally.  If they tire, you can easily act as "tugboat" for a while and pull them behind you with the attached rigging.   

Yes, you must purchase a fishing license and adhere to State laws regarding fishing regulations.  

Not unless it really does you justice.  Otherwise, we will provide you with a life vest.

Yes!  Oh, yes!  The primary kayak launch is about a 1/4 mile from the historic district of Georgetown, boasting a variety of museums, ice cream, restaurants, ice cream, lodging options, ice cream, and more.
